God's Portion Scheme

All Saints' has an envelope scheme for weekly giving to support the church. Donations can be gift aided and this increases the value to the church. Please contact the Church Treasurer for a supply of envelopes. Regular giving helps the church to budget effectively.

Supporting Christian Aid

The 'bucket' collection during Christian Aid Week 14-20 May raised £208.19. Thank you for your support! Every year we bemoan that Christian Aid week follows directly after the Village Carnival, but local generosity makes any effort we make worthwhile.

The Gardening Team

You don't have to be an expert gardener to join the All Saints' Gardening Team. It is an excellent and cheap way to keep fit. There is no joining fee and it is very satisfying work. The churchyards and Trust Burial ground take lots of taming but there are many rewards. Abundant wild life, the satisfaction of reclaiming land, huge bonfires and the gratitude of parishioners who appreciate the work you do. To join the team turn up in the churchyard any Tuesday morning at 10.00am, you will be made very welcome.

Praise and Play

If you want to keep in touch with young families, why not volunteer to join the Praise and Play Rota? If you can make toast, brew a pot of tea, wash up and enjoy watching children play, this may be for you! Help is needed from 10.15am, Thursday mornings at the Church Hall, term time only. Contact claire Jones.

The Children's Society

Children's Society Logo

All Saints' has been a regular supporter of the Children's Society. Every year we hold a Christingle Service in December. This is supported by the Rainbow, Brownies and Guide Groups and it is always a special occasion. Some of our Christmas Church Collections together with donations from the Christingle Candle Boxes help to support children through the work of the Society.

All Saints' also supports the Children's Society House Box scheme. If you would like to have a House Box please contact Jenny Wellman. House Boxes are one of the most effective fund raisers for the society raising approximately £2million each year. All Saints' Boxers have recently sent £140.89 to the Children's Society. This is part of our collection for 2016.

The Choir

All Saints' has a small choir that leads Sunday Worship. The church would love to expand the choir and would welcome new members. If you have any interest in singing or music and would like to join the choir please express your interest to the Churchwarden.
